The River of Life

"The River of Life" for marimba was written in January 2009.
This work was designed as a study of the technique of four mallets.
SYNOPSIS
This work describes life itself.
Perhaps one of the most romantic examples that life can represent is found in the life cycle of salmon.
Life is like a river, where we will swim in calm waters as well as turbulent waters. Do not confuse decisions with fate. Every decision you make will change your world, while destiny is a beautiful river on which life rests.
This work is dedicated to my first percussion teacher in Ecuador, Andrés Carrera.
