As an instrumentalist, he has been a member of the Loja Symphony Orchestra and has excelled as the Principal Timpanist and Percussionist of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador.
His remarkable musicality, interpretive quality, and leadership in the percussion section have been evident, contributing innovative ideas and consolidating a style that meets the highest standards of professional orchestras.

Since the inception of the musical arts career in 2018 to 2024, Cristian has served as a professor in the Symphonic Percussion Department of the Central University of Ecuador.
Cristian is the founder and Artistic Director of the Percussion Ensemble of the Central University of Ecuador: PercUCEmble, and its students have been invited to and are part of renowned ensembles and musical institutions in the country, such as the Youth Orchestra of the National Symphony Orchestra of Ecuador.
Cristian also collaborates as a professor in other subjects, including Composition, where he shares his knowledge and experience in his role as a composer.
